DAVID R. BISHOP

Mr. Bishop is the Vice President - Outsourcing of The Lancaster Group, LLC (05/2006-present). Prior to his tenure at The Lancaster Group, LLC, Mr. Bishop served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Menno-Haven, Inc. (06/2001-03/2006) located in Chambersburg, PA.
His experience and in-depth knowledge is concentrated in performance improvement (including turn-around of Chapter 11 organizations), management of retirement community support services (dietary, laundry, etc.), and business office operational assessments. Mr. Bishop's finance and accounting experience spans over fifteen years, of which six are in healthcare. A primary responsibility of Mr. Bishop's practice is the outsourcing of the Chief Financial Officer and Controller functions on an interim or permanent basis, the conversion of accounting and third party billing software systems and operational and financial performance improvement.

- Monthly financial statement preparation, including management discussion and analysis, debt covenant monitoring and benchmarking financial and operational performance.

- Negotiation of tax exempt bond letter of credit enhancement agreements.
- Negotiation and structure of business acquisitions.

- Annual CCAC reporting.
- Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reporting and other third party reimbursement services.
Professional Background
Prior to joining The Lancaster Group, LLC, Mr. Bishop served as Chief Financial Officer of two insolvent manufacturing organizations (in both cases his tenure began after the firms were deemed insolvent), Treasurer of a highly profitable previously NYSE listed manufacturing company, and as Chief Financial Officer of Menno Haven, Inc., the 76th largest retirement community in the United States.
Mr. Bishop holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Richmond and a Masters in Business Administration concentrating in finance from Mt. St. Mary's College. Mr. Bishop volunteers for both the United Way and the Exchange Club.
