• Review Medicaid Pending processes to maintain accurate payor source and timely Medicaid approval.
• Provide interim Business Office assistance during periods of staff turnover. Train new business office staff in the proper business office procedures.
• Assist skilled nursing facilities with the month end process, including; census verification, ancillary charge entry, verification and submission of claims, final accounts receivable aging report, accounts payable and expense accruals.
• Perform operational assessments of nursing facility business offices and all related processes, including; billing, collections, policies, and procedures.
• Perform payroll processing and tax reporting.
• Perform payroll expense analysis and overtime prevention.
• Perform Human Resource benefit cost analysis and budget review.
• Provide assistance to Human Resources with open enrollment for employee healthcare benefits.
• Review employee insurance benefits, including; the identification of new enrollment, disenrollment and employee deductions.
